Youth Development Capacity Area E-mail List Serves

The following lists are maintained by the Center for 4-H Youth development. These are the preferred lists to use (vs. the HR lists - i.e. the "C5 list") as these lists are maintained by Center staff and may include staff not on the HR lists.

Using 4-H Lists in Outlook
These lists addresses can be made available via Outlook by downloading and saving the following Outlook file onto your computer. Once the file is saved on your computer, open the "4hlists.pst" file in Outlook by clicking on File>Open>Outlook Data File. The 4-H list addresses will then appear in your list of available Contacts.

Subscribtion status and List Archives
To determine your subscription status of these lists, OR to view the archives of any of these lists, you must REGISTER your e-mail address with the U of MN list server. Click here - lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?GETPW1=LMGT1 - to go to the necessary screen and enter your information (as pictured below):

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!!
Some county based staff will need to use their county e-mail address (i.e. firstname.lastname@co.county.mn.us). Which address is used will depend upon how the e-mail is set up in the county - for more information, please contact Todd Mehrkens at toddmehr@umn.edu or 800-444-4238.

The above action will then prompt the list server to send you an e-mail message that includes instructions about finalizing the process.

Once your password is registered, you can log on to the list server at lists.umn.edu/cgi-bin/wa?REPORT&z=3 and as you scroll down you'll see which lists you are subscribed to, your subscription status, access the archives, etc.

Joining, leaving or troubleshooting list subscriptions
Membership on these lists is maintained by Center staff - for more information or for help in resolving problems, please contact Kim Thompson - thomp037@umn.edu or Todd Mehrkens at toddmehr@umn.edu.
