4-H Clubs

4-H Clubs give youth a feeling of belonging and an opportunity to learn about things that interest them. Clubs are formed by youth and adult partnerships where volunteers work along side young people to help them learn and grow. Together, youth and adults experience and practice leadership and citizenship in real time making real decisions. Youth decide what interests they would like to follow, adults support and encourage them. From Arts and Sciences to Leadership and Technology, 4-H Clubs expand the opportunities available to youth. There are over 130 interest areas supported with curriculum, so every youth can find a subject to explore. Each young person has a chance to learn, practice and polish their communication skills including public speaking, demonstrating and more. 4-H is about the whole child, allowing each to have a nonformal educational experience at their own pace.
