MN State Fair Rabbit Show Rules

Getting Started In The
4-H Rabbit Project

1.  4-H Members must be present to show their rabbits or forfeit awards and premiums. Each member will carry his/her rabbit to the judging table and show it while it is being judged.

2.  Any rabbit that does not fit a breed standard will be considered a crossbred and will be judged in the market classes. No crossbred breeding classes will be conducted.

3.  Fryers will be judged on conformity, condition, and carcass. Because of disparity of county and state dates, a new rabbit may be shown at the state fair.

4.  Fryers and meat pens can not be leased.

5.  Entries which do not meet the identification requirements will receive no higher than a blue ribbon.

6.  No Locks will be allowed on rabbit cages. Non locking clips permissible as long as they are no longer than 2 1/2 inches in length.
