I'm looking for a specific photo

All 4-H State Fair photos are located on the 4-H SmugMug site and can be located by searching for a specific exhibitor's name. Enter the first and/or last name, then click ona the magnifying glass.

As an alternative, if you know the species or county, you can use on of the links on the 4-H Fair Results web page.

I'd like to order a print of a photo

Once you locate a photo or photos and would like to order professional quality prints, click on any of the shopping tools on the 4-H SmugMug site.

Note that the prices you will pay will cover the cost for SmugMug to print the photo, plus an additional amount that helps to fund the other expenses of providing these photos (staff time, eqiupment, etc.)

I know a 4-H member and am wondering what ribbon or placing they got

The best way to look for a specific 4-H member is to look at the "complete listings" and then scroll through to the place that member would be or use your web browser's search feature.

These complete listings are available in the following formats:

I'd like to know how a particular class or specie was placed

The best way to look for results of a class is to look at the "complete listings - listed by class" - and then scrolling through to the desired class or using your web browser's "search" feature.

Classes are listed in Class Code order, within a species - meaning that generally similar classes are located near each other. For example, market classes will be listed together, breeding classes will be together and breeds will be together.

The overall livestock species order is Beef, Dairy, Goats, Poultry, Rabbits, Sheep and Swine. These classes are followed by Judging Teams, Demonstrations, then General (non livestock) classes follow alphabetically by proejct area.

The Champions and other Award and Class winners are listed in the News Releases for each specie.

I'd like to know how 4-H'ers in my county have placed

Following the completion of the fair, a complete report for each county will be posted. Until then, the best way to locate county results is the "complete listings" report - sorted by county. It would be helpful to use your web browser's search feature.

I can find the person I am looking for, but there is no placing listed

The most likely reason for this is that either the judging for that activity has not happened yet, or the results are still being processed for posting. Please check back later. Our goal is to get results posted within 1-2 days of the completion of judging.

I know that someone got a purple ribbon, but I can't find their photo

It will take 24 hours (or possibly longer) to get photos posted, following the completion of each judging session. Please check back later to see if the photo is posted then.

It is also possible, due to the participant's availability for photos, that some purple ribbon winners did not get their photos taken. In other words, it is often up to the participant to be a particular place at a particular time to have their photo taken, and not all participants are able to make that happen.

What do the placing abbreviations mean?

In the listings, the following abbreviations are used:

CH - Champion
RC - Reserve Champion
PR - Purple
BL - Blue
RD - Red
WH - White
PA - Participation
HC - Honor Court
