4-H clover About 4-H

What is 4-H?

4-H is an out-of-school, hands-on learning program. Choose a project that’s interesting to you and explore it with peers and caring adults.

Who can join 4-H?

4-H is for anyone in kindergarten through one year post-high school (grade 13). Youth in kindergarten through second grade are considered Cloverbuds.

Is there a cost?

Some experiences within 4-H may have a cost, and some local 4-H programs or clubs may have dues, but financial assistance may be available.

Where is 4-H near me?

Clubs and 4-H opportunities are in every Minnesota county and some tribal nations. A local 4-H club is your place to make friends, deepen your project learning and find leadership opportunities. You may meet people you already know or a whole new set of friends. Watch this video about what a 4-H club is to learn more.
